  1. Mrs Saint Delafield

One of my personal favorites, and one of the fonts that looks so great it’s hard to believe they are completely free to use. Incredibly elegant, with and old-fashion calligraphic style. Together with Monsieur La Doulaise, Mr De Haviland, Herr Von Muellerhoff and Miss Fajardose, it’s part of the same collection of scripts that were based on real signatures.

    • Language support: Latin, Latin Extended
    • Styles: 1 weight (Regular)
  2. Great Vibes

Definitely the most well-known and most used script font from Google Fonts. It’s a beautiful connecting script with elegant uppercase characters.

    • Language support: Latin, Latin Extended
    • Styles: 1 weight (Regular)
  3. Pinyon Script

A round hand script style font with swashes. Its high stroke contrast and pronounced slant make it most suitable for use at larger sizes.

    • Language support: Latin
    • Styles: 1 weight (Regular)
  4. Monsieur La Doulaise

Together with Mrs Saint Delafield, Mr De Haviland and Miss Fajardose, it’s part of the same collection of signature-based elegant handwritings.

    • Language support: Latin, Latin Extended
    • Styles: 1 weight (Regular)
  5. Sacramento

A monoline, semi-connected script inspired by hand-lettering artist brochure works of the 1950’s and 1960’s. Less formal than the other scripts in this list, but nevertheless elegant in a more modern way.

    • Language support: Latin, Latin Extended
    • Styles: 1 weight (Regular)
  6. Mr De Haviland

Has an old-fashion calligraphic style and it’s part of the same collection as Mrs Saint Delafield, Monsieur La Doulaise, Herr Von Muellerhoff and Miss Fajardose.

    • Language support: Latin, Latin Extended
    • Styles: 1 weight (Regular)
  7. Stalemate

Stalemate is proof that a calligraphic script font can be both elegant and simple, classic without being overwhelming. Its elegance comes from details, and its simplicity greatly increases readability on screens/web use.

    • Language support: Latin, Latin Extended
    • Styles: 1 weight (Regular)
  8. Miss Fajardose

Another elegant script, from the same collection as Mrs Saint Delafield, Mr De Haviland, Herr Von Muellerhoff and Monsieur La Doulaise.

    • Language support: Latin, Latin Extended
    • Styles: 1 weight (Regular)
  9. Meie Script

Based on the Estonian handwriting standard from 1910. Less flamboyant than Western European standards from that time, Estonian handwriting was largely influenced by German and Russian styles.

    • Language support: Latin, Latin Extended
    • Styles: 1 weight (Regular)
  10. Herr Von Muellerhoff

Handwriting font from the same collection as Mrs Saint Delafield, Mr De Haviland, Miss Fajardose and Monsieur La Doulaise.

    • Language support: Latin, Latin Extended
    • Styles: 1 weight (Regular)
  11. Rouge Script

Created by initially hand-drawing with a copperplate nib and tweaked with the termination styles of a brush script. Its low slant angle gives it good legibility on screens.

    • Language support: Latin
    • Styles: 1 weight (Regular)
  12. Petit Formal Script

A script typeface optimized for web use, that can be successfully used in smaller sizes.

    • Language support: Latin, Latin Extended
    • Styles: 1 weight (Regular)
  13. Tangerine

Calligraphic typeface inspired by italic chancery handwriting from the 16th and 17th centuries, ideal for titles/headings.

    • Language support: Latin
    • Styles: 2 weighta (Regular, Bold)
